Introduction

Papryx is a modern, premium PDF editor built directly into your browser. Unlike traditional cloud tools that require you to upload your sensitive files to permanent servers, Papryx processes most operations entirely locally on your device.

Getting Started

You do not need to create an account to use the basic features of Papryx! Simply navigate to the Dashboard and drag-and-drop a PDF into the Quick Upload Workspace. However, registering an account enables advanced, heavy-processing tools like OCR scanning and compression.

Zero-Storage Privacy Model

We employ a hybrid privacy architecture:

• Local Execution: Edits, signatures, and page manipulations happen completely client-side in your browser memory. Your files are never sent to a server.
• Ephemeral Backend: For compute-heavy tasks like Compression and OCR, we route the document to our isolated processing queues. We do not write these files to disk or databases. They are processed securely in-memory and instantly deleted the millisecond the result is returned to you.

Merge PDF

Combine multiple PDF files into a single, cohesive document. Simply select the files you wish to merge, re-order them by dragging, and click Compile. This runs 100% locally on your machine.

Split PDF

Extract specific pages from a large document or split it into multiple smaller files. You can visually select the pages you want to keep or input a custom page range.

Compress PDF

Reduce the file size of your documents dynamically without losing noticeable visual quality. Ideal for meeting email attachment limits or optimizing web uploads. This tool utilizes our Zero-Storage ephemeral backend.

OCR Scanner

Optical Character Recognition (OCR) makes scanned, image-based PDFs searchable and selectable. We extract the raw text accurately. This tool uses our Zero-Storage ephemeral backend to ensure maximum privacy.

Edit PDF

Our premium interactive canvas allows you to click and edit text inline directly on your PDF pages. You can also add shapes, images, or redact sensitive information manually.

Sign PDF

Apply electronic signatures or company seals to your contracts and agreements. You can draw your signature, upload an image of it, or type it out using stylistic cursive fonts.

Rotate PDF

Fix scanned pages that were captured upside down or sideways. Apply 90-degree clockwise or counter-clockwise rotations to individual pages or the entire document instantly.

Delete Pages

Strip unwanted, blank, or sensitive sheets from your documents before sharing them. Visually select the pages in a grid and delete them with a single click.
